Ingredients

  • 1 can BRUNSWICK® CHUNK TUNA, drained
  • 6 tbsp. Flour
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
  • Pinch Salt and Black pepper
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable oil
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 small Onion, sliced
  • 1/2 medium Green pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium Tomato, chopped

Directions

  • Stir together flour, cheese, baking powder and seasonings in small bowl and set aside. Whisk together oil, eggs and milk.
  • Prepare vegetables and add flaked BRUNSWICK® CHUNK TUNA. Add the oil/egg/milk mixture to the tuna and vegetables.
  • Stir in the flour mixture and mix just until blended. Pour into a buttered 8" x 8" (20cm x 20cm) pan.
  • Bake at 350F for 35 to 40 minutes or until set. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting into squares (Cover with foil for part of the baking time if top browns too quickly.)
  • <strong>Alternate Serving Suggestions:</strong> Cut in smaller squares and serve as appetizers. Use vegetables of choice.
