Brunswick® Tuna Avocado Pear

Ingredients
- 3 cans BRUNSWICK® CHUNK TUNA in Oil or Water, drained
- 2 avocado pears (Substitute with squash if avocado is unavailable)
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 dash of lime or vinegar
- 2 garlic pegs, crushed
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 dash cayenne pepper
- 1 dash white or black pepper
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- 1 tbsp. of mayonnaise
Directions
- 1Cut pears in halves, remove seed.
- 2Mix BRUNSWICK® CHUNK TUNA, onion, lime or vinegar, and garlic in a bowl.
- 3Add seasonings (salt, cayenne pepper, white or black pepper and Angostura bitters) to taste.
- 4Add mayonnaise and stir. Fill each pear half with mixture.
- 5Top with sour cream and a dash of paprika. Serve on plate decorated with lettuce or parsley and sliced tomatoes.
- 6WHEN USING SQUASH INSTEAD OF AVOCADO: Cut squash in two halves, scoop out seeds. Place squash in a pan with 1 cup of water. Place pan in 325-degree oven for 20 minutes. Remove and fill each squash half with mixture. Top with sour cream and a dash of Paprika. Serve on plate decorated with lettuce or Parsley and sliced tomatoes.
