Ingredients

  • 3 cans BRUNSWICK® CHUNK TUNA in Oil or Water, drained
  • 2 avocado pears (Substitute with squash if avocado is unavailable)
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 dash of lime or vinegar
  • 2 garlic pegs, crushed
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 dash cayenne pepper
  • 1 dash white or black pepper
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • 1 tbsp. of mayonnaise

Directions

  • Cut pears in halves, remove seed.
  • Mix BRUNSWICK® CHUNK TUNA, onion, lime or vinegar, and garlic in a bowl.
  • Add seasonings (salt, cayenne pepper, white or black pepper and Angostura bitters) to taste.
  • Add mayonnaise and stir. Fill each pear half with mixture.
  • Top with sour cream and a dash of paprika. Serve on plate decorated with lettuce or parsley and sliced tomatoes.
  • <strong>WHEN USING SQUASH INSTEAD OF AVOCADO:</strong> Cut squash in two halves, scoop out seeds. Place squash in a pan with 1 cup of water. Place pan in 325-degree oven for 20 minutes. Remove and fill each squash half with mixture. Top with sour cream and a dash of Paprika. Serve on plate decorated with lettuce or Parsley and sliced tomatoes.
